Here are three slide shows submitted by Doug Schermer who served in Semnan, 1966-67.

These slide shows focus on the construction of a school in the village of Chashm, north of Semnan in the Elborz Mountains.

.

Chashm Slide Show One was produced in the winter of 1967 as a way to help raise construction funds from students at a high school in Seattle. The technology involved two reel-to-reel tape recorders.

.

Chashm Slide Show Two was produced many years later with slides provided by David Garrett, who lived in Chashm during construction.

.

Chashm Slide Show Three was produced in 2015 using images sent by cell phone by someone who had visited Chashm.
