Future of PCIA

Reading the Future at the Tomb of Hafez

Future of PCIA

Iran Peace Corps Volunteers are an aging demographic.  How will this impact the future of PCIA?  How will we be able to sustain our vision, mission and values into the future?  What things should we be doing now to prepare?

This session looks at these questions beginning with the “Recommendations Report” on planning for the future of PCIA commissioned by the PCIA Directors. We want to make this planning process as open and collaborative as possible.   You can download the Quick Guide to the full report by clicking HERE.

PCIA has thrived because members have voluntarily dedicated their time, experience and creativity. To move forward we need the help of our members and PCIA supporters.

This session will begin with a look at the Report before turning to a guided discussion about next steps.

Presenters include Carolyn Yale (Shiraz, 1974 – 1976) and Jackie Spurlock, (Abadeh, Riz, 1974 – 1976).  Both have served as president of PCIA in the past and now look to the future.
